Honestly, this weather is really getting on my last nerve. The more it rains, the higher my chances off getting called off of work is. I woke up at my usual 10am to a beautiful and cute message from Bryan saying how much he missed me, which put me in such a good mood. I laced up my asics and headed out for a morning run, which I could barely make happen. 50 degrees this morning did not make it any better! I hate morning runs–my energy is always so low, my legs aren’t entirely stretched so they hurt when I run, and my head hurts afterwards because I run on an empty stomach. I did push myself and finished though, so I was proud for that! The weather today has been drizzling and pouring and on and off, and no warmer than 50 degrees, what is up with this May weather?! I showered after my run and had a big salad, the usual veggie burger/onion/tomato/romaine combination. I was getting ready for work since it was 2:30 and my boss Z hadn’t called me off yet, but just as I arrived and said hi to him, he told me to go home because it was so slow. Things like that truly piss me off, especially because I wasted my time going there and set aside time in my day to work. Although I do love my job there, I need a new one. and fast.

Some people really don’t like the texture or mouth feel of this food, but I honestly love it, especially the taste. and the fact that you can cook them in 90 degree weather since it doesn’t use the oven! Definitely give them a try.
So, it’s not really a happy friday, but Bryan will be back soon and hopefully it’ll be a happy weekend?
